How we write, review, and cite our medical content

Last updated 2026-07-15 · Medical reviewer: Dr. SangYoul Yun, Board-Certified Dermatologist (AAD International Fellow)

Who writes and reviews our content

Clinical and educational content on hifuseoul.com is written under the direction of, and medically reviewed by, Dr. SangYoul Yun— the clinic's board-certified dermatologist and Medical Director, an International Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (IFAAD) and a member of the Korean Dermatological Association and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. Where an article adapts one of Dr. Yun's Korean-language clinical posts, the original is linked at the top of the article for provenance.

Other physicians at the clinic are licensed general practitioners working under Dr. Yun's clinical leadership; injectable and energy-device procedures are performed by the board-certified dermatologist, not delegated.

How we source and cite claims

Efficacy, safety, and timeline claims for a procedure or device are supported by primary sources — peer-reviewed studies (PubMed), journal DOIs, and regulatory records (FDA clearance, Korea's MFDS registration). Citations are shown on the page, and each links to the original record so a reader can verify it directly.

We verify every citation against its source (for journal articles, the PubMed record) before it is published; a reference that cannot be verified is removed rather than displayed. We do not publish an efficacy claim we cannot cite.

Regulatory honesty

We distinguish clearly between what a device or product is cleared or approved for and what is used off-label or is not yet FDA-approved. Brand names are stated as registered (e.g. Ultherapy, Thermage FLX, Sculptra). Prices are given as ranges and finalized after an in-person consultation, because the appropriate protocol depends on individual anatomy.

Dates and freshness

Each article shows a publication date and, when the content has been substantively updated, a revised date. We do not artificially refresh dates on deploy; a shown "last reviewed" date reflects a genuine medical re-review of that page's content.

Corrections

If you believe a statement on this site is inaccurate or out of date, contact us and we will review it. Substantive corrections are made to the page and, where the meaning changed, the revised date is updated. Reach us at delightskinofficial@gmail.com or 02-517-9991.

Scope — this is education, not a diagnosis
