Overview

IV Drip menu in Gangnam — vitamin C, glutathione, NAD+, Cindella, vitamin D under MFDS off-label cosmetic-medicine framework. Registered nurse IV access with dermatologist supervision and honest evidence + regulatory disclosure.

Best for

  • Fatigue, jet-lag, or post-travel recovery (vitamin C / B-complex / Cindella)
  • Skin brightening interest (glutathione / Cindella) — informed consent required
  • Anti-aging curiosity (NAD+) — honest framing that cosmetic evidence is sparse
  • Immune-support adjunct (vitamin C / D)
  • Antioxidant adjunct after sun exposure
  • Vitamin D repletion in confirmed deficiency
  • Pre-event same-day wellness paired with basic skin care or primary procedure

Suited for

  • Adults 19+. Typical patient 20-65.
  • Generally healthy adults passing IV screening (renal / G6PD / pregnancy / oxalate / allergy)
  • Patients accepting wellness-adjunct framing — NOT FDA-approved for anti-aging / brightening / wellness
  • Glutathione / Cindella patients accepting written informed-consent disclosure
  • NAD+ patients accepting that cosmetic anti-aging evidence in healthy adults is sparse
  • Patients combining IV with primary procedure visit
  • Single-session viable for any trip length
  • Multi-language consultation available; female staff on request.
Duration

Consultation 15-25 min

Single infusion 30-60 min

Combo same-day (IV Drip + Aquapeel or Ionto) 90-120 min

Sessions

Single session or weekly / biweekly course (varies by goal; no rigorous course-evidence base)

Downtime

None (mild fatigue or warmth at infusion site possible; high-dose vitamin C above 15 g patients may prefer to rest remainder of day)

Peak result

Single-session subjective wellness or brightness sensation immediate; cumulative objective benefit unclear in published literature

02

Timeline

  1. Day 0

Warmth / flush during glutathione, vitamin C, or Cindella common and self-limited. NAD+ slow drip may produce chest tightness. No visible skin change from single IV.

  2. Day 1-7

Mild fatigue / headache resolves within 24h. IV-site bruising resolves within 3-7d. Single sessions appropriate for event prep / jet-lag, NOT sustained transformation.

  3. Multi-session course

Limited published cosmetic-outcome data. IV-route RCT base is sparse. Multi-session IV = wellness adjunct without objective cosmetic guarantee.

  4. Long-term

Cadence patient-driven. We do NOT pre-sell open-ended IV subscription packages.

  5. Honest ceiling

Wellness experience + patient-reported subjective benefit. NO 'reverse aging' / 'detox' / 'whiten permanently' / 'cure' language. Sustained anti-aging requires primary procedure plan.

FAQ

Is IV Drip FDA-approved for anti-aging?

No. FDA has NOT approved any IV vitamin C, glutathione, NAD+, vitamin D, or Cindella for anti-aging / brightening / wellness. Philippines FDA issued a 2011 warning against IV glutathione for off-label skin-lightening. Werner-syndrome NR trial (Shoji 2025) is rare-disease, NOT cosmetic anti-aging. Korean clinics operate under MFDS off-label framework, disclosed at consult.

Side effects?

Common: mild warmth / flush during infusion; IV-site tenderness; mild post-infusion fatigue or headache. Less common: factitious hyperglycemia in renal patients on high-dose vitamin C; G6PD hemolysis > 25 g; oxalate stones; sulfite / vitamin allergy. Our screening identifies these risks pre-infusion.

What is Cindella?

Korean MFDS-registered compound combining glutathione + alpha-lipoic acid + vitamin C + B-complex. NOT FDA-approved. Same disclosure as standalone IV glutathione. Not validated by RCT for cosmetic skin-whitening.

Is IV glutathione safe at 600-1200 mg?

Generally well-tolerated in screened patients at Korean clinical standard dose. We exclude sulfite hypersensitivity, severe renal disease, pregnancy, lactation. We disclose Philippines FDA 2011 warning and oral / topical vs IV evidence asymmetry in writing.

Is NAD+ proven for anti-aging?

No, not for cosmetic anti-aging in healthy patients. Werner-syndrome NR trial (Shoji 2025) is rare-disease, oral, not cosmetic IV. We do NOT claim cosmetic anti-aging benefit.

Does glutathione IV whiten skin?

Partial mechanism (tyrosinase inhibition + eumelanin → pheomelanin), limited IV-specific evidence. Wahab 2021 RCT was oral + topical, NOT IV. Foundation of pigmentation therapy = hydroquinone / tranexamic / SPF — IV glutathione is at most adjunct.

IV Drip during chemo / cancer?

Coordinate with treating oncologist first. We request written clearance and defer if any uncertainty. Survivors in remission with oncologist clearance accommodated with appropriate screening.

Pricing?

Per infusion: Vitamin C 5-25 g ~₩55,000-₩320,000 · Glutathione 600-1200 mg ~₩75,000-₩110,000 · Cindella ~₩55,000-₩85,000 · Premium compound ~₩230,000-₩320,000. NAD+ is priciest. We do NOT pre-sell open-ended subscriptions.

IV Drip or primary procedure first?

Primary procedure first, IV as wellness adjunct on top. IV produces NO permanent structural change. We will NOT recommend IV-only plan as substitute for primary anti-aging procedures.

Combine IV with Aquapeel same day?

Yes. Popular: IV + Aquapeel + LED in 90-120 min. We do NOT upsell stacking beyond 2-3 modalities per visit. See /procedures/basic-skin-care-seoul/ for topical hub.

Notice

Tell the dermatologist at consultation if any of the following apply.

  • High-dose vitamin C — G6PD deficiency screening required
  • Hypersensitivity to vitamins, glutathione, sulfites, ALA, or Cindella components
  • Active autoimmune flare or sepsis — defer until stable
  • Active chemotherapy — coordinate with oncologist first
  • Anticoagulant medication — slightly elevated bruising risk
