ADVATx Laser in Seoul
Redness, active acne and the marks left after acne need different assessments. At Gangnam Delight in Seoul, we first examine the cause and your current treatment, then discuss whether ADVATx belongs in your care plan.
Suited for
- People with persistent redness or visible small facial vessels who want to discuss laser treatment
- People with inflammatory acne who want to review an additional option alongside their current care
- People unsure whether their acne marks are redness, pigmentation or scars
Flushing, rosacea, active acne and post-acne marks can look similar but need different treatment plans.
Skin tone, pigmentation history and current medication affect laser selection and settings.
For your visit
Share your departure date and important events before booking; redness or swelling may affect your plans.
A short visit may not allow a complete course or follow-up. Agree on a review and contact plan before leaving Seoul.
- After treatment
- Temporary warmth, redness or swelling may occur; the immediate appearance does not establish the final result.
- At follow-up
- We compare redness, active lesions and skin tolerance with the starting assessment, then decide whether to continue or adjust the plan.

Aftercare
While the skin is sensitive
Use gentle cleansing and moisturizer. Avoid rubbing or irritating products, and follow the clinician's advice about restarting active skincare.
During recovery
Protect the skin from the sun. Ask when to resume exercise, heat exposure and makeup based on your skin reaction.
If symptoms worsen
Contact the clinic for increasing pain, blistering, marked swelling or unusual colour changes rather than waiting for the next visit.

FAQ
Q.What is ADVATx, and what do its two wavelengths do?
ADVATx is a non-ablative laser made by AdvaLight. The 589 nm wavelength targets haemoglobin in superficial blood vessels. The 1319 nm wavelength is absorbed by water and delivers heat within the skin. The clinician selects how to use them for the diagnosed concern.
Q.Can ADVATx treat redness and acne together?
It may be considered when facial redness and inflammatory acne occur together. Red marks, brown marks and indented scars are different concerns, however, and may need different care. Persistent redness also needs assessment for causes such as rosacea.
Q.Does ADVATx replace acne medication?
Do not stop prescribed treatment to have laser treatment. Small studies have reported improvement, but evidence is limited. A 2025 trial adding laser to benzoyl peroxide and a 2026 trial for acne-related redness did not establish a statistically significant advantage over their comparison treatments. A consultation determines whether laser is a useful addition to your care.
Q.How many sessions will I need, and when will I see a change?
There is no single course for everyone. The diagnosis, treatment area, skin response and ongoing care determine the number and spacing of visits. We review the response over time rather than promise a result after one session.
Q.Does it hurt, and is there any downtime?
Warmth, stinging, redness or swelling can occur. Recovery varies with the settings and your skin. You may need recovery time. Laser treatment can also cause burns, blisters, pigment changes or scarring. Discuss your skin history and plans before treatment.
Q.How much does ADVATx cost in Seoul?
We provide an itemized quote after assessing the areas and proposed plan at consultation. Ask what is included in the visit and whether any additional care is recommended before deciding.
Q.Can I have ADVATx during a short visit to Seoul?
Tell us your travel dates, sun exposure plans and any important events. Treatment and follow-up depend on the skin assessment. Leave time to check your skin reaction, and arrange how to contact the clinic after departure.
