First 24 hours
Avoid touching, pressing, or rubbing the area. Skip heavy exercise, alcohol, sauna, hot baths, and strong heat. Mild swelling or tenderness may occur.
Days 1-3
Bruising or swelling may become more noticeable before improving. Gentle skincare and sunscreen. Contact the clinic for severe pain or unusual discoloration.
Week 1
Most temporary injection-related reactions improve within several days. Do not massage the area unless your dermatologist instructs it.
Long-term
Maintain sunscreen and a gentle routine. Collagen results are gradual — assess over time. Follow-up sessions may be recommended per your plan.
It differs from a traditional HA filler. While HA fillers mainly create immediate volume by filling space, JUVELOOK Volume combines HA with PDLLA to support gradual collagen stimulation, so the final result develops more slowly and naturally. Regulatory status: it is MFDS-approved in Korea and CE-marked, but NOT FDA-approved as an injectable in the US.
Same active ingredients (PDLLA + HA), different formulation. Base JUVELOOK uses smaller particles for superficial-to-mid-dermal skin boosting (texture, fine lines). JUVELOOK Volume — sold internationally as LENISNA — has roughly 4× higher PDLLA dose and a thicker HA carrier for deep-dermal or subcutaneous volumization of the mid-face, cheeks, and folds.
Some early change may show soon from the HA component, but collagen-related improvement develops gradually — often noticeable around 4-8 weeks, with more visible change around 3-6 months. Many patients are advised 2-3 sessions at about 1-month intervals; the ideal number depends on volume loss, treatment area, and goals, set after consultation.
Rare but serious: vascular occlusion (including visual complications) from inadvertent intravascular injection, particularly in glabellar, periorbital, and forehead zones. The Asia-Pacific PDLLA-HA vascular-safety consensus guides safe technique — cannula for high-risk zones, hyaluronidase emergency kit, and anatomy-based depth control. Common transient risks include swelling, bruising, and mild redness; rare late-onset nodules have been documented and are manageable.
