Dr. Yun's Academic Activity: PLLA Collagen Biostimulation & Pre/Post-Procedure Skin Science

Dr. SangYoul Yun, Medical Director of Delight Dermatology, recently took part in two dermatology education programs.

PLLA collagen biostimulation lecture

At the 24th Daegu-Gyeongbuk Dermatologic Treatment Conference, Dr. Yun presented on PLLA (poly-L-lactic acid) collagen biostimulation under the theme “Beyond the Filler, Beyond the Face.” The talk described how PLLA prompts the skin’s own gradual collagen response rather than adding volume directly — the same biostimulator principle behind Sculptra — the clinical discussion around off-face applications such as skin laxity, and the importance of conservative, evidence-informed treatment planning.

Galderma ALASTIN — GAIN KOREA 2026

Dr. Yun also participated as a speaker at Galderma’s GAIN KOREA 2026 program, an ALASTIN-focused clinical education session on the science of pre- and post-procedure skin preparation and recovery, where he shared clinical cases on regenerative care and downtime reduction alongside other dermatologists.
