How It Works
Four simple steps to claim your refund.
Receive treatment
Complete your dermatology procedure at Delight Dermatology Clinic. Our staff will provide a tax refund receipt at checkout.
Keep your receipt
You will receive a tax refund slip with the VAT amount clearly stated. Keep this receipt until you depart Korea.
Visit the refund counter
Before departure at Incheon International Airport (or other international airports/ports), visit the Tax Refund counter or use the automated kiosk to claim your refund.
Receive your refund
The 10% VAT is returned to you via cash, credit card, or your preferred payment method at the airport refund counter.

Common questions about the tax refund.
Who is eligible for the VAT refund?
Foreign nationals and overseas Koreans who have stayed in Korea for less than 6 months are eligible. You must present a valid passport at the time of treatment.
How much is the refund?
The refund is approximately 10% of the treatment cost (the VAT portion). The exact refund amount depends on the total and the refund operator's processing fee.
Which procedures are eligible?
Cosmetic and aesthetic dermatology procedures such as Ultherapy, Thermage, Botox, fillers, Sculptra, skin boosters, laser treatments, and other non-covered (비급여) procedures are generally eligible.
Do I need to do anything special during my visit?
Just bring your passport to the clinic. Our staff will process the tax refund documentation for you at checkout.
Where do I claim the refund?
At the Tax Refund counter or automated kiosk at Incheon International Airport (ICN), Gimpo Airport, or other designated departure points. Some refund operators also offer in-city refund at designated locations.
